Jeff Jungen, 57, of Parker, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, March 17, 2018. Devoted husband of Paula and proud father of Brandon and Nick. Beloved son of James and Janice Jungen. Dear brother of Cathy (Bob) Durham, Eric (Patty) Jungen, and Sara (Mike) McVaugh. Also survived by loving nephews Zander Jungen, Hayden Jungen, Jordan Durham, and Jonah Durham, and nieces Jessica McVaugh, Emily McVaugh, and Julia Jungen, along with many loving friends and extended family. He was preceded in death by his brother Mark. In his younger years, especially when he lived in Durango, Jeff was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying camping, hunting, skiing, dirt biking, and boating. He was an Army veteran and attended West Point. He was also a Certified Public Accountant. After becoming a father, Jeff loved to spend time with his boys, teaching them that same outdoor enthusiasm and helping them through Boy Scouts. Later in life, Jeff found that he had a knack for fixing computers and computer software. Jeff enjoyed entertainment of all genres, including books, movies and video games. He was deeply loved, and will forever be missed.
Funeral service Thursday, March 22, 2018 at 2pm at Parker Funeral Home.
