Gary Bishop passed away on June 13th in his home in Parker, Colorado. He was born on September 13, 1954, in Pueblo, CO the son of Gene Bishop and Oberita Villers Bishop.
Gary graduated from Pueblo South High School in 1973. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Theology from Baptist Bible College West in Denver, CO in 1983 and a Masters of Divinity from Denver Conservative Baptist Seminary in 1986. After serving as the Pastor of Crossroads Community Church in Parker, CO from 1988 to 2004, Gary returned to school to earn his Master of Arts in Education specializing in counseling from the University of Phoenix.
Gary loved and enjoyed many things. He loved sports of all kinds as a player and coach. His favorite pastime became playing golf with family and friends, especially his favorite golf partner- grandson, Jackson Carter Bishop.
Gary is survived by his wife, Melody; his daughter, Harmony; his son, Brandon; and grandson, Jackson. Five sisters, one brother, multiple brothers and sisters-in-law and many nieces and nephews survive him.
