Edward W. Gredig, 82, of Parker, CO passed away March 13, 2019 at Denver Hospice. He was born July 18, 1936 in Townsend, TN to Ed and Minnie (Higdon) Gregid. A USAF veteran, he bravely served his country during the Korean War. Afterwards Edward graduated from Spartan School of Aeronautics in Tulsa, OK in 1961, thus embarking on his lifelong career as an aircraft mechanic. Edward married Sherry Clapper, the love of his life in 1957 and had two beautiful daughters. When he wasn't working you would find him gardening or jumping in the car headed for a quiet fishing trip.
A graveside service with Military Honors will be held at 1:30 PM, on Thursday, March 28, 2019 at Fort Logan National Cemetery. Those attending should arrive at the cemetery no later than 1:15 PM, meeting at Staging Area B.
He leaves to cherish his memory, Sherry Gredig, his wife of 61 years; daughter, Linda Stuckenbruck, of Aurora, CO; daughter, Cindy Froman, of Las Vegas, NV; granddaughter, Regina Arnold, of Las Vegas, NV; granddaughter, Rebecca Stretz, of Las Vegas, NV; grandson, Luke Stuckenbruck, of Aurora, CO; grandson, Matthew Stuckenbruck, of Aurora, CO; sisters, Juanita Walt and Janice Sims of Maryville, TN; sister Patricia Gredig, of Goodlettsville, TN and many great-grandchildren.
