Earl "Skip" Bent Obituary

Earl Christian Bent better known as "Skip the Golf Guy" 72, passed away on Friday, October 11, 2019, at his home in Parker, CO. Skip was born on March 3, 1947 in Painesville, OH. In 1969 he graduated from Northwestern, in Greeley, CO with a BA degree in Accounting. He later worked and retired from the United States Post Office.

On June 28, he married Laurie on Lookout Mountain in Golden, CO. They raised there two children, Molly and Michael in Parker.

He was best known as Skip the Golf Guy being a master golf club builder. Golf was his passion and he taught and helped many other players over the years.

He leaves behind his wife Laurie Bent, Parker, CO; his daughter Molly (Jason) Marks, Homestead, FL; his son Michael (Morgan Gates) Bent, Parker, CO; granddaughters, Tranquil Bent, St. Paul, MN and Laurie Lynn Bent, Parker, CO.
