Dolores Degan Obituary

Dolores Marie Degan, 90, of Parker, CO, passed away November 5, 2019. She was born November 14, 1928 to George and Elizabeth (Fraley) Gramer in Richmond, Michigan.  Dolores grew up in rural Michigan during the Great Depression.  Like many of her generation, Dolores left school before graduation in order to help her parents work the family farm.  In additional to farming, Dolores served her country, working along-side so many other women in an assembly line, supporting our troops during World War II.  She also worked as an Aerospace Lab Tech at the Cubic Corporation in San Diego.  In 1948 she married Herman Degan, the love of her life for 51 years and together raised their three children.  Dolores was a wonderful homemaker and loved taking care of her husband, children and especially her grandchildren whom she always found time to play with and nurture.  She loved cooking and could always be found watching the latest cooking show.  Dolores leaves to cherish her memory, son James Degan, daughter Janice Ward; grandchildren, James Ward, III, Christopher Ward, Sara Degan, Andrew Degan and four great grandchildren, Emma Ward, James Lucas Ward, IV, Joel Ward and Tyler Ward.  She was preceded in death by her husband Herman and son Jack Degan. Cremation has taken place and no services are to be held.  Burial will take place next to her husband in California in the Spring .  Condolences may be left at www.info@pfh-co.com.  Arrangements entrusted to Parker Funeral Home.Dolores Marie Degan, 90, of Parker, CO, passed away November 5, 2019.
