Beloved Carey (Guenther) Wandrei-Thomas, 53, left this life peacefully, Sunday, September 24, 2017, to be with her Lord.

She was born in Winona, WI and grew up in Fountain City, WI where she graduated from C-FC High School.  She attended WWTC (Western Wisconsin Technical Institute) in Lacrosse, WI and graduated in computer data entry.  She had been a loan closer for the mortgage industry in the Denver area for the last 24 years.

Carey was the beloved wife of Rick Thomas.  Together they made their home in Aurora, CO.  Carey and her husband Rick were  members of the Ferrari Club of America and the Viper Club of CO.  She cherished their eight grandchildren and went to soccer games almost every weekend.  She enjoyed family get-togethers and family was most important to her, including traveling to Arizona to be with her dad and mom, and to Texas to be with her sister, brother-in-law and nieces.  She will be missed by all that knew and loved her. 

She is survived by her loving husband, Rick Thomas; stepsons, Kenji (Shannon) Thomas, Koji (Jennifer) Thomas; eight precious grandchildren, Julien, Kodi, Kyra, Hanna, Yummi, Koji Jr., Marcus and David; dad, Jerome Varner; brother, Jeff (Roxanne) Guenther; sister, Jodi (Ed) Miller; nieces, Kelly Miller, Becky (Jon) Wickes, Amy Grace Miller, Marian (Steve) Young, Kristi Guenther; and nephew, Benjamin Guenther.
