Betty Ellen (Nordholm) Turner

Betty Ellen Turner, age 75, of Parker, CO passed away April 9, 2018 with her loving family at her side. Born July 22, 1942 in Englewood, CA Betty and her family moved to Colorado. Betty attended Alameda High School in Lakewood, CO and then went on to St. Luke's School of Nursing in Denver, CO. She became a registered nurse for a time and then happily chose to devote herself full-time to her family. On August 31, 1963 in Lakewood, CO Betty married the love of her life, Mr. Clifford Lloyd Turner. Her hobbies included traveling with Cliff in their 5th wheel, reading, putting together puzzles and spending time with their kids and grandkids. They had two daughters and their family continued to expand. Betty is survived by her husband, Clifford Turner, of Parker, CO; her daughters, Susan Eigsti (Larry) of Friend, NE and Jill Dodge (Jim) of Colorado Springs, CO; her grandsons, Bryce Eigsti, of Friend, NE and Dylan Huff of Colorado Springs, CO; granddaughters, Leslie Dodge of Tahlequah, OK and Amelia Dodge of Colorado Springs, CO and numerous other family members and friends. Betty was predeceased by her mother, Pat Nordholm and her father, Pete Nordholm. Betty was not only a devoted mother, grandmother, wife and friend, but she was also devoted to her faith and God. She will be missed by all who knew her and all whose life she touched.
