A RAY OF SUNSHINE was sent on October 8, 2017

This bouquet is called "Ray of Sunshine". That's exactly what Barbara always was to me. Her beauty was inside & out & she radiated warmth, strength & kindness. Her earthly battle, fought with dignity & grace, is finally over. Our Lord has her in His loving arms. Prayers of comfort to her family.

I knew Barbara thru EGA and always admired her beautiful needlework. She was an inspiration to me and always challenged me to try new projects. She will be greatly missed but look forward to "seeing her on the other side!"

"Jehovah is close to the brokenhearted; he saves those who are crushed in spirit." (Psalms 34:18) My deepest condolences to the family on the loss of your loved one. And may the above words give you some comfort at this difficult time.

I didn't get know Barbara as well as I would have liked, but all of my interactions with her were fun and she was so gracious and kind. She was in a class with me at National in Louisville and I felt a bit intimidated. No need, she helped when I had questions or got stuck on something and was always encouraging. She was a very fun loving woman and my perspective is that she loved life and those who surrounded her that she called family and friend. I will miss her wit, her smile and her care. Rest in peace, Miss Barbara!

Barbara was a wonderful needlework mentor for me. She was always encouraging and smiling. I will miss seeing and visiting with her at EGA events.
