Annette Emilie Falter

Annette grew up and studied in Edmundston and Moncton, New Brunswick Canada and later became manager of the Le Madawaska, Ltée stationery and gift store owned by her parents, Gaspard and Annette Boucher (Lamarche).  She met her future husband, Joseph John Falter, founder of the St. John Valley Times newspaper in Madawaska Maine, and were married in 1960 in Edmundston.  They lived in Madawaska where their children were born, (Melissa, Melinda, Victoria, and Michael) until moving to Ohio in 1971 where Joseph was offered a job as the editor of The Western Star weekly newspaper in Lebanon.  They remained in Lebanon for the next 38 years, with Annette working as a homemaker and then at several Hallmark shops in the area.  She helped raise her granddaughter, Samantha, before moving to Aurora, Colorado with Joseph in 2009.  In Colorado, they lived with Victoria and her husband, Gary and helped raise her grandchildren - Rowan, Ethan and Mia

Annette leaves behind her loving husband of 58 years, Joseph John, her daughters Melissa (Scott Bacon), Melinda, Victoria (Gary Dieringer), her son Michael Falter, her grandchildren Rowan, Ethan, Mia, Samantha, Amber, Austin and her sister Louise Boucher (Pierre Bourdeau) in Quebec City, Canada.

 Upon her death, Annette wanted her family and friends to know that she loved them very much.  She will be immensely missed by all who were fortunate enough to know her. 

Annette at her passing was 86 years old and is interred at Fort Logan National Cemetery near Denver, Colorado.
