Angeline "Angie" Annetta (Soodsma) Garner

Angie died peacefully at the Prairie Creek Living Center in Strasburg, Colorado on April 29, 2019 where she had resided for 7 years. She was born November 24, 1928 in Prairie View, Kansas. She married Charles (Charlie) Garner in 1952 and had 5 boys.  She enjoyed her beautiful flower gardens, crafts, volunteering at her church and at the Adult Daycare Center in Parker. She loved to travel to St. David, Arizona where she and Charlie were "snowbirds". She enjoyed and supported Charlie in his senior citizen singing group in AZ and often talked about it. Once she moved into assisted living she enjoyed helping out the staff with their daily support duties, doing crafts, puzzles, cards and enjoyed having family visit her.  She died peacefully in her room at the age of 90. She is survived by her sons Harlan Garner, Bennett CO, David Garner (Debbie) Bennett, CO, Keith Garner, Sterling, CO and Roger Garner (Lisa), Parker, CO. She has 4 successful grandsons, Shane, Austin, Zach and Trevor. She was preceded in death by her son Mark and by her husband of 57 years, Charlie  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to benefit Alzheimer's Association Tribute Page for Angie Garner.
