Alec “Taylor” Hodge, 29 from Tucson AZ, and more recently Aurora, CO finally found peace in February 2019 after a long battle with addiction. Taylor played the guitar, liked to debate, lived as a gentleman thanks to Recovery Ranch, enjoyed gaming with his sister Meghan and friend Max, had a love of animals, and most of all he loved his family and wanted to make them proud.
His family and friends will miss a young man who was so full of promise and potential. Confident yet insecure. Vain yet humble. Creative yet analytical. So smart, kind and loving. An empathetic soul who cared deeply for others and who was just so easy to love.
He was preceded in death by his beloved “Gramps”, Ray Stansberry, and is survived by his mother Susan Stansberry and stepfather George Burl, his sister Meghan Hodge, grandmother Rita Stansberry, his furry friends Duncan and Dexter, and many family and friends who will miss him so much.
Rest In Peace, Taylor. Give Gramps a hug for us. We love you.
