Albert Ingalls Obituary

Albert Bob Ingalls, 68, of Parker, CO, passed away on February 9th, 2019 in Aurora, CO. He was born on May 4th, 1950 in Salina, Kansas, to Robert Wilbur and Kolma Nellie (Brown) Ingalls.
On May 24th, 1968, Albert graduated from Turner High School in Turner, Kansas. He later graduated from Park College in Parkville, Missouri in 1982 with a Bachelor of Arts Degree.
Albert served in the United States Air Force from 1970-1994 for 23 years, 1 month, and 19 days before he was forced to retire. He worked in the finance department and retired as a Master Sergeant. On October 25th, 1988 he married Ae Kyong in Seoul, South Korea. After retiring from the military, his family soon moved to Aurora, Colorado and later settling in Parker, Colorado. He worked for DFAS and then the DEA as an accountant. After 16 years of federal service, he retired in December 2012.
Albert enjoyed spending time with his wife Ae Kyong, daughter, Sonya, their dog Cassidy, and his friend, Stephen. He liked to go on walks with them, grocery shopping, and restaurants. He would meet up with his old work friends for lunch every once in a while to talk and catch up. He spent his time at home in the computer room playing online computer games, watching movies, and playing with Cassidy. Albert enjoyed time with others and talking. He always did the best he could to make everyone around him happy or make smile with jokes. His hobby of playing computer games started in the 90’s and playing online computer games started with playing Dungeon Siege and World of Warcraft with his daughter, Sonya. Neverwinter was the most recent online game he’d play with his friends from work.
In his spare time, he would read fantasy books and watch movies. Fantasy, sci-fi, old westerns, and comedies were his favorite genres; with Robin Williams, Clint Eastwood, and Will Smith being some of his favorite actors. He’d listen to music very seldom, but when he did he’d always have a smile of his face. Marty Robbins and Buddy Holly were some of his favorite musicians. When he was physically able, he would do home improvement projects which later turned into sanding and staining tree branches for walking sticks.
He is survived by his wife, Ae Ingalls, Parker, CO; daughter, Sona "Sonya” Ingalls, Parker, CO; his dog, Cassidy; special friend, Stephen White, Parker, CO; brother, Robert (Carolyn) Ingalls, Kansas City, KS; sister, Jackie (Phil) Raz, Muscatine, Iowa; brother, Gary (Cindy) Ingalls, Muscatine, Iowa.
