Abigail "Abbey" Rediess Obituary

Abigail “Abbey” Nicole Rediess was the beloved third daughter of Sam and Michelle Rediess, arriving April 5, 1989, in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. Abbey attended Rock Canyon High School before making the transition to college at Colorado State University.

Abbey loved so many things.... Her family, her cat, Stella, her job as an insurance agent, the CSU Rams, going to concerts, her German heritage, sharing her opinions, the Denver Nuggets, music, Dr. Pepper, sliced meats, shrimps, and cheeses during family get-together's and standing her ground.  Brutally honest, lively, and strong in her convictions, her sisters aptly named her Raging Bull. She loved dancing, singing to Pretty Lights and being an all around fun girl.

Throughout her life she made a lasting impression on those she loved, and who loved her. Her natural beauty, charisma, and courage will inspire those whom she will continue to live through.

On July 9, 2018 Abbey passed from this world to join her grandfathers, Herbert Geigle, Fred Rediess and her Uncle Louis Aucoin. She is survived by her adoring parents, Sam and Michelle, devoted older sisters Becky Shipley and Missy Barker, and grandmothers Elaine Geigle, and Luella Rediess. Abbey was “the Fun aunt” to her nieces and nephews, Sam, Katie, Adelaide, Joey, Matt, Macy, Conor and Jolene, who saw in her a like-minded free Spirit. Abbey was the beloved niece of Linda Aucoin, Carol and Bob Pierce, Laurel and Randy Wimer and Sue and Steve Claps, Lawrence and Mary Rediess.

Abbey was enthusiastic about life. Be it travel, concerts or casual gatherings she shined brightest in social situations.

In the words of Abbey – “Travel and explore. Live and Learn. Love Everyone. Life is too short to do Anything Else.”

In honor of Abbey's bright spirit please wear bright colors to her service!
