Mary "Kris" Kristine Altmix

Mary Kristine (Kris) Altmix age 65 passed away peacefully in her home in Elizabeth Colorado on October 16th, 2020. She was born May 14th 1955 in Ogden Utah to Shirley Renee Odekirk Dabling and Dennis Mitchel Dabling who preceded her in death. She was married to Richard Joseph (Joe) Altmix on October 2nd 1973 at  Saint Louis Roman Catholic church in Englewood Colorado. 

Kris loved camping and cooking but most of all she loved caring for others. Caring for children was her passion, all neighborhood children were always welcome in her home and at her table. 

Kris worked for many years as a kitchen manager in the elementary schools of Douglas County. It suited her compassionate nature and love of children.

Kris is preceded in death by her three brothers Mitchel Dabling, Mark Dabling, and Daniel (Danny) Mann. She is survived by her husband Richard Joseph (Joe) Altmix, her sister Dawn Marie Dabling, her four daughters and their husbands Brenda and Eric Hall, Heather Altmix, Robin Altmix, and Amanda and David James; grandchildren Stephanie Vagias, Sofia Vagias and Nikolas Vagias. All of whom she loved and deeply touched.
