Gary Wayne Overley

On Friday January 22, 2021 Gary Wayne Overley, a loving father, grandfather and brother passed away, at the age of 65. Gary was born in Richmond, Kentucky on November 14, 1955. The first of five children to Bill and Nadine Overley. Gary grew up traveling the world and moving frequently before ending up in beautiful Colorado, which he made his home. He lived a happy life and raised two children, daughter Kelli and son Christopher.

Gary worked for Safeway for almost 19 years in IT. Following Safeway he started his own business, TechWest Computer Services and ran it successfully for 16 years. He took pride and delight in helping people. No matter what it was he could always fix it. He enjoyed meeting new people and building relationships. He loved trips to the mountains especially to Breckenridge every year to see the annual ice sculptures. Gary enjoyed teaching and taking his kids fishing.  His passion for cooking was unrivaled, he was always trying a new recipe or cooking technique. He was known for his quick wit, and his kind and compassionate spirit. He will be missed by all who loved him.

He is survived by his daughter Kelli LeVan (Bryan) and grandson Logan. Son, Christopher Overley (Kaylee) and granddaughter Amelia. His brothers Larry (Michele), Randy, Kevin (Jenny) and sister Kim (Brent), nieces Erin (Mike), Lindsay, Amy and Emily, nephews Jared, Ethan, William and Nicholas.  Gary is preceded in death by his parents Bill and Nadine.

Funeral service will be at 11am on Thursday, January 28, 2021 at Castle Oaks Covenant Church, 826 Park St, Castle Rock, CO 80109. MASKS REQUIRED
