Deena Marie Mata

Deena Marie Mata, 40, passed away peacefully, at home October 2, 2020.  She was born June 25, 1980 to Steven and Bernadine (Fitzgerald) Rowe, Sr in Kansas.

She was a proud graduate of K-State, Class of 2002.  Deena married Jeffrey Mata, the love of her life in 2014 and had three beautiful and amazing children.  When she wasn’t spending quality time with her children you would find her working along side her husband on their company Track Pads.  Deena never wasted a minute or opportunity to do things with her family.

You sometimes hear that a person was a one of a kind....Our Deena was that person. She had an inner joy that was central to just her.  And that inner joy was reflected in her eyes, her voice and her smile.  Deena was so beautiful, so kind, so sweet and so loving. She loved her husband, her children, her parents, her family and her friends with all of her heart.  You knew you were important to her and that you mattered.  Our Deena fought so valiantly to combat this cancer so she could be with those she loved.
 She may be gone now, but we will remember those eyes, that voice and that smile and we will remember always that she loved us and we mattered.

Deena is survived by her husband Jeff Mata; children, Ava, Joslyn, Van of the family home; mother Bernie; step-father Bob; siblings, Steve, Jr., Shon (Monica), Trevor, Cory; father Steve Sr. and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.  

A celebration of life will be held at 10:00AM, Friday, October 9, 2020 at Cross Roads Community Church, 9900 S Twenty Mile Rd, Parker, CO 80134.  In lieu of flowers donations can be made in her name to St. Judes.org.
