Linda and Family, what a remarkable man! His obituary gave me such insight into the life of a gentle, caring human being. I know he will be sorely missed, but you can take comfort in knowing that you all took such good care of him and spent time with him in his last few years. May memories and photographs of wonderful, precious times spent with him and Gertrude over the years bring a smile to your face and peace to your aching heart. How blessed we were to have our dads for so many years. I hope he meets up with dad when he arrives in heaven! My sincere condolences.

Dearest friends, we are praying to God to give you all comfort in this time. We as Christians know that he's with Gert and Jesus and all the family and friends that have been in heaven waiting for Roger to arrive. He'll be a big hit up there as I'm sure you know. So be sad for our loss, but happy that he'll be in Heaven for eternity. You'll see him again and that's what Jesus has told us and it is true. Grieve now and move on towards our eternal time. Love and condolences from us.

Hi Dear Tim & Jackie....many many thanks for your kind thoughts and prayers. It's by the grace of God that we can go on. It's a very lonely empty feeling. I have not lived in Parker without Dad...he moved with me when I moved to Parker. He loved Parker and being close to his family. Please pray for better weather in WI for his memorial service. They are expecting "thunderstorms" if you can imagine in the middle of November. We fly in and out of Chicago O'Hare. I haven't been through O'Hare for more than 25 years...yikes! God's willl will be done.
Love and God Bless, Linda

I offer my sincere condolences to your family during this difficult time. Continue to lean upon family and friends for support. God gives us comfort and hope at 2 Corinthians 1:3,4 and Revelation 21:4 when we mourn during occasions like these. May you find the peace and strength needed to endure the days ahead.
