Hello Family and Friends of Robert Wedge,
Our most deepest thanks reach out to all of you for the comfort of your cards, prayers, and thoughts of love during this difficult month. We know how much your friendship meant to Robert, and that he meant a lot to you too, and we hope the delay in communication hasn't caused you worry or heartache. Working through these days after Robert's sudden passing has been the most difficult challenge we've ever had to meet, and we have just managed each day as it comes.

We also appreciate your patience in determining a memorial celebration and the time is now right to remember our Robert. He didn't share his wishes with us for a memorial and he wasn't much of a church guy. We know that Robert would love to get his friends together and share a meal with plenty of lively conversation. He sure enjoyed good Mexican food so we've planned a casual get-together for his Celebration of Life on November 12, 2017 in Englewood, CO.  Please look for an "Evite" to come through your email soon and your RSVP is needed.  If you did not receive this invite by email, please reach out to us at cherwedge@gmail.com. If you're unable to attend, please email your mailing address to us so we can send you Robert's organ donor memorial card. We'll also be holding a similar celebration at a later time in Wichita, KS as we will be returning there to bury his ashes in a family plot. Please let us know if you'd be interested in joining us for Robert's memorial in Wichita.
Thank you for your continued love and friendship,
Cheryl and Cameron

Sad News....

Robert passed away at home on Tuesday, September 19th, 2017. While we are devastated by the unexpected loss of our father, husband, and friend, we are grateful that he passed quickly and painlessly.

Robert was an outgoing, jovial and entertaining man. He loved to make friends and showed his love to others with the gifts, services, and advice he provided. Like all of us, he had challenges in life, but he always sought to make sure that those close to him were provided for in whatever way he could. He always had a smile, compassionate hug, and friendly conversation for those in need, whether they be friends, family or even strangers.

Robert was a craftsman who enjoyed hands-on projects such as watch and clock repair, vehicle maintenance, painting, art, and collecting practical yet beautiful items.  He was interested in history, politics, and science, and always had something relevant to say regardless of the subject.

Robert’s family is working through the necessities and we will be hosting a celebration of life at an as-yet-undetermined time in Parker, CO.  We are reaching out to you through Robert's contact lists in email and cell, so we may not know how Robert connected to you, but we are grateful for the role you played in his life. Please reach out to Cheryl or Cameron directly if we have not met before so that we may continue being in touch.

If you would like to contact the family, please reach out to either Cameron or Cheryl at:

Thank you for your compassion, thoughts, prayers and support during this challenging time.
