Lois Elaine Rowley

Lois Elaine Rowley, age 85, of Silverthorne, CO passed away March 2, 2018.  She was born November 12, 1932 in Delta, CO, Lois attended Durango High School in Durango, CO, graduating in 1950.  She retired as Director of Payroll Services at Shawnee Mission School District in Shawnee Mission, KS.  She was a member of Eastern Star and she loved gardening, traveling and sewing.  She was married to Marlin H. “Bud” Rowley on January 6, 1951, in Albuquerque, NM and they were married for 67 years before he passed away.  Lois is survived by her daughter, Karen Wallace (Michael) of Marina, CA; her son, Kyle Rowley (Robin) of Houston, TX; her daughter, Elaine Garrett of Franktown, CO; her grandson, Michael Wallace (Laura) of Arlington, VA; her grandson,  Brett Rowley of Brooklyn, NY; her granddaughter Paige Jones (Austin) of Houston, TX;  her granddaughter Caroline Rowley of Ellensburg, WA; her granddaughter Kelsey Garrett of Jackson, WY and her grandson Foster Garrett of Denver, CO; her sister-in-law, Willie Foster, of Marion, OH; and nephew, Howard Foster (Joe) of Marion, OH.  She is predeceased by her husband, Marlin H. “Bud” Rowley, her brother, Raymond Foster, her father, Howard Foster, her mother Audrey Foster and her son-in-law, Tom Garrett.
