Kathy Duffin McKnab, age 68, passed away at Swedish Hospital in Denver, CO on December, 15 2017.

Kathy was born July 5, 1949, in Carlsbad, NM.  She graduated from Carlsbad High School in 1967 and later received her Associates Degree from NMSU-Carlsbad.  As a longtime resident of Parker, CO, Kathy owned her own business as a Certified Massage Therapist and was a bookkeeper for a group of Psychiatrists/Psychologists for over 30 years.

Kathy’s hobbies included cooking, hiking, sewing, craft projects, gardening, and caring for animals.  She always had a sense of humor and was a mother, confidant, best friend, and soul soother to most people she met.  Kathy always had a smile on her face and could always brighten up the darkest of rooms with her beautiful soul.  Kathy was deeply loved by those that knew her and she will forever be missed.

Kathy is survived by her daughter, Kari McKnab and fiancé Thomas Melton of Denver, CO; siblings, Sally Duffin Covington, James (Jim) Duffin, and Thomas (Tom) Duffin, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Kathy was preceded in death by her parents Roberta (Bebe) Vandewart Duffin and Thomas (Tod) Rogers Duffin. 
 

Services will be held on January 27, 2018 at 1:00pm at the Embassy Suites by Hilton Denver Tech Center, 10250 E. Costilla Avenue, Centennial, CO 80112.  In Kathy's honor, please feel free to wear one of her two favorite colors (purple or teal) to her service in her memory.
