June Ardell (Wescott) Busch passed away on April 21,2017, at the age of 83, in Parker, Colorado.  June was born January 26, 1934, in Wausau, Wisconsin, the only child of Ervin and Verna Wescott. Her parents instilled a love of fun, family, and friendship.  June graduated from Wausau High School in 1952, and from St. Mary's Hospital School of Nursing, Wausau, in 1955, as a Registered Nurse.

June married her hometown sweetheart, Patrick Joseph Busch, on June 13, 1956, in Wausau.  Together, they raised four children, Debra, twins Michael and Teri, and Amy.  June did not work while her children were in school, but kept her nursing license active and resumed her work as a pediatric nurse as her children were grown.

Pat's career with the Federal government took the family to Iowa, Illinois, Germany, and New Jersey, before retiring back to their hometown of Wausau in 1990.  When Pat passed away in 1996, June moved to Colorado to be close to her children and grandchildren.

June loved people and life.  Her friendships were loyal and lifelong, and she loved to entertain friends in her home.  She enjoyed volunteering, skiing, sewing, crafts, playing cards, dancing, and singing.  June especially enjoyed traveling throughout Europe while the family lived in Heidelberg, Germany in the 1970's, and she continued to indulge her love of travel with the friends she made in Colorado.  Her greatest joys were her grandchildren, Lisa and Kelsey Pugh, Steven and Kristy Busch, CJ and Taylor McMillan, and Maggie and Bryan Pearson, and her great granddaughter Emerson Busch.

Later, as the symptoms of Alzheimer's Disease took her words and her memories, she still found joy in her family and music.
