Jim-Claire Clipson, Denver Colorado, passed away peacefully on Sept. 4, 2016.  She celebrated her 98th birthday on August 27th surrounded by family and friends. 

Jim-Claire graduated from Central High School in Jackson MS in 1936.  She and her husband Robert (Bob) were married October 24, 1941.  They moved to Denver in the 60’s to raise their daughter, Claudia.  Jim-Claire and Bob enjoyed spending the winter months in Arizona and traveling in their Airstream.  Jim-Claire is remembered as the party planner for the Wally Byam Caravan Club International Airstream Travel Club. She was a past president of the United Methodist Women’s Group, a longtime member of the Southmoor East Garden Club and the D.F. Chapter of PEO.

Jim- Claire loved being around people and sharing stories about growing up in Mississippi.  She enjoyed entertaining and was a quintessential “southern belle”.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband Bob and her daughter, Claudia Sinclair.
