Francis Adolph Sieve

Francis “Frank” Adolph Sieve, age 79, of Aurora, CO passed away surrounded by his loved ones January 23, 2018.

Born June 29, 1938 in Shawnee, KS, Frank attended Saint Agnes Catholic Parish in Roeland Park, KS. He graduated from there and went on to become an artist and a store manager. Frank had a passion for sculpting and his art. He also loved watching the beautiful Colorado weather, playing basketball, bowling and writing poetry. Frank was an avid Broncos fan and was often found catching the games on TV.

Although he was divorced, Frank remained friendly with his ex-wife, with whom he fathered five wonderful children. Frank is survived by his daughters, Erica Sieve, of Aurora, CO, JoAnnette “Ann” Sieve, of Englewood, CO, Melinda “Mindy” Koehnen, of Loveland, CO and Stephanie Palmer, of Thornton, CO; son Jon Sieve, of Aurora, CO; granddaughters Brittany Grimm, of Castle Rock, CO, Hannah Sanders, of Mansfield, TX, Olivia Sieve, of Aurora, CO, Cassandra “Cassie” Weason, of Aurora, CO, Crystal “Crissy” Weason, of Florida, and Madelyn Sanders, of Mansfield, TX; grandsons Nickolas T. Sieve, of Aurora, CO, Eric Maher, of Englewood, CO, Jesse Slewitske, of Aurora, CO, Sean Jones, of Denver, CO, Ben Koehnen, of Parker, CO and Ryan Koehnen, of Loveland, CO; great grandchildren, Stella Grimm, of Castle Rock, CO, Maven Grimm, of Castle Rock, CO, Noah Sanders, of Mansfield, TX and Mary Sanders, of Mansfield, TX; and siblings Rosemary Sanders, of Kansas City, KS, Lillian Sanders, of Kansas City, KS, Robert “Bob” Sieve, of Willard, MO and Philip Sieve, of Kansas City, KS.

Frank was predeceased by his parents, Leona A. Gettler and Francis A. Sieve.
