Evelyn Jean (Enix) Batt

Evelyn Jean (Enix) Batt, 83, of Lone Tree, CO, passed away on March 4, 2019 in Parker, CO.  She was born on December 17, 1935 in Jellico, TN, the daughter of Arthur and Rosa (Parks) Enix.  She attended Lee College in Cleveland, TN.

On June 8, 1963, she married Dennis W. Batt at Ford Road Church, in Dayton, OH, with the ceremony being performed by her brother, Pastor Efford Enix.  Together they raised two sons, Jonathan and Anthony.  She loved to cook and enjoyed writing, especially fiction and non-fiction, even having some of her works published.

A viewing will be held on Sunday, March 10, 2019 at 2:00 pm, at Cornerstone Church of Parker, 19542 E. Parker Square Drive, Parker, CO, followed by a funeral service at 3:00 pm. A burial will be held on Tuesday, March 12, 2019, at 11:00 am, at Cedar Hill Cemetery, Castle Rock, CO.

She is survived by her husband, Dennis Batt, Lone Tree, CO; her sons, Jonathan Batt, Lone Tree, CO and Anthony (Ronda) Batt, CO. Springs, CO; grandsons, Ryan Batt, Guam and Dylan, Batt, CO. Springs, CO; sister, Fay Fuegate, Dayton, OH; and brother, Vernon Enix, Dayton, OH.
