Doug Holladay, 61, passed away on March 29, 2018 with his family by his side. He was born on June 21, 1956 in Pocatello, Idaho. Doug graduated from Pocatello High School in 1974. He served a two year LDS mission in Fukuoka, Japan from 1976 to 1978. Doug married Lisa Taylor in the Idaho Falls Temple on May 11, 1979.
Doug was an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting, fishing, four wheeling, camping, car racing, snow and water skiing. He owned his own construction company, and worked in construction management throughout his life. The knowledge and skills he gained from his work experience enabled him to personally build two wonderful homes for his family.
Doug loved his family, spent his life serving others and had a positive influence on the children and the youth of his church. His unique sense of humor was cherished by all that knew him.
He is survived by his wife, Lisa Holladay and children, Jill Preston (Cory), Shawn Holladay, Kristen Brown (Cody), mother, Darlene Holladay, sisters, Susan Holladay Coté (Broc), Sandra Holladay, Allyson Stavron (Scott), and grandchildren, Abby, Collin, River, Tessa, Toby, Taylor, and great grandson Lucas. He is preceeded in death by his father, Lynne Holladay.
