Decklan James Hillard passed away Wednesday, April 19 at 8:44 pm. On Tuesday, he was rushed to the hospital after being found not breathing while napping at the sitters, as a result of SIDS. Despite all efforts he passed away with all his family around him. Decklan was born November 10, 2016 and although he was only with us for a short five months, he touched so many people’s lives in so many ways. We will forever love and miss but never forget Decklan’s strength, loving smile, his beautiful caring eyes and genuine joy for life. Decklan was the loving infant son of Kelsey (Briggs) and Chris Hillard; cherished grandson of Bonnie (Bovard) and Edward Briggs and Mary (Szewczyk) and Don "Bill" Hillard; beloved great-grandson of Peggy Radak and Osyp Szewczyk; loved nephew of Godfather Nick Hillard and Godmother Lauren (Briggs) and Justin Wilhelms; treasured cousin of Sydney and Logan Wilhelms.
