What a great obituary! So nice to learn so many things about Charles' life. Harold has fond memories of time spent with Charles and his family as they were growing up in Arizona. As adults, it was always a great pleasure visiting with Charles and Kay at family gatherings at his parents' home in Chandler, Arizona. What a fitting place to celebrate his life, at the Lake House at Cherry Creek. We look forward to attending and honoring his life.

Everyone that knew Charlie admired, respected and loved him for what he was and what he stood for. Nothing more need be said. But let me add, he was a fantastic tour guide the first time I visited Rome. His prowess was due to having accompanied Kay on guided tour bus rides when she visited Rome with. him. I, in return, being Catholic, showed Charlie how to have the Swiss guard gently escort me back through the employees only entrance to the Vatican. Apparently the Pope was busy and could not see me. My deepest sympathy to Kay and the rest of the family.

My condolences to the family on Charlie's passing. I worked with Charlie on the Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter program in 2003-2005 he was such a fun and easy going person to work with that I really enjoyed that experience.
