Carol Brainard was born in Chicago Illinois December 13, 1933 as Carol Lee Kipp. Carol was the older sister to Marla.

Carol married John Brainard on June 26th 1954. John and Carol have three children, Laura, Lynn and James.

John and Carol moved to Parker Colorado in 1974 where Carol enjoyed her life of horseback riding, her church, music and a career in Real estate sales.

Carol is survived by her sister Marla Kohart. Her daughter Laura Nisbet and husband Doug. Granddaughter Janna Nisbet McBride and husband Kyle and great granddaughter Makayla McBride. Granddaughter Nicole Nisbet and grandson Michael Nisbet. Her daughter Lynn Wedow and her sons Will Wedow and Wade Wedow. Her son James Brainard and wife Jerri Brainard along with their sons Tanner Brainard and Elijah Brainard.

Carol, a true believer in Jesus Christ and saved Christian passed peacefully into the arms of her creator with family members at her side.
