Barbara Ann (Nichols) Degan

Barbara Ann Degan aka "Turtle Girl", 49, of Parker, CO, passed away  on May 13, 2018, at her home.  She was born on December 1, 1968 in La Mesa, CA, the daughter of James and Rose (Sharo) Nichols.  In 1986, Barbara graduated from Grossmont High School in El Cajon, CA.  From 1986-1988 she attended Cuyamaca Junior Collage.

On May 7, 1988 at Holy Trinity Church in El Cajon, CA, she married James R. Degan.  They were married for 30 years.

Barbara worked as an insurance office assistant, retail sales associate and then as an office manager for Dependable Cleaners, but her most important job was that of an awesome homemaker and mother.

She loved cross stitching, sewing, cooking, going to rock concerts, listening to 80's and hair metal music, gardening, Facebook, computer gaming and Ancestry Fact Family Tree.

Survivors include, her husband, James Degan, Parker, CO; daughter, Sara Degan, Parker, CO; son, Andrew Degan, Parker, CO; Mother, Rose Nichols, El Cajon, CA; brother, Stephen Nichols, El Cajon, CA; nephew, James L. Ward III, Alpine, CA.  She was predeceased by her father, James Nichols.
